The Digital Insights Product Manager must have a deep knowledge of the business area, with intermediate understanding of data science and data engineering, as they will oversee data scientists, engineers, and analysts to drive outright model development. The Product Manager is also responsible for documentation of all features and descriptions of the algorithms integrated to aid in commercial team understanding and upskilling. They must be able to explain the models using an intermediate language between an “academic approach” and “corporate documentation”, so that it is easily interpretable by members of the technical team (scientists and engineers) and stakeholders within the commercial functions.
